100KW critical cooling keeps hospital running

During a planned power outage at the hospital, the air conditioning to the pathology laboratory was going to be temporarily shut down. This presented a significant challenge as the laboratory is vital to the functioning of the hospital and a reliable solution was essential to maintaining these critical services throughout this time.

Airflo designed and supplied a complete cooling and power solution, incorporating a 100KW water chiller, four compact air handling units and a generator. The system was installed without disturbance to the laboratory staff and successfully maintained a steady temperature in the laboratory for the duration of the outage.

The client was delighted at the outcome and is continuing to work with Airflo on future projects across a number of sites.
